It's not a game and it never was.
I see it as a game and I think other people also see it as a game.

But the question remains, should it be ended?

Or should a thread have a maximum number of posts and then be ended automatically?

Indeed, an interesting question. If we consider that all threads are made up of the following qualities:

1) An initial post containing some words on a particular subject matter.
2) The potential for reply

Then it is obvious that there is no difference. We must then ask what, within those two paramters differs between the WAG and other threads. The answer is, I think, in the title. By choosing the title of this thread I seem to have embued it with some intrinsic addictive quality which the rest of RHP have been attracted to until they feed like little heroin babies on the breast of their perverted and deranged parent, sucking and ever strengthening their addiction.

So, suck away my tiny children, suck until your minds have melted and your hearts have stopped. And long may you suffer little children to come to me. I am the Heroin Christ, read my book, praise my godhead, write your pathetic posts here and worship as you do. You all disgust me.

Then what is the cure from this addiction?

Should we stop posting or let this thread be ended by the mods?

There is no cure, you cannot stay away and the mods will never close the thread, they too are bound in my power forever.
