@earl-of-trumps saidYou have to love coffee to make good coffee. : 😍
Before I go for your delicious food, I'd like to have another strong coffee, then I will dine. And you did a great job on that coffee, merci 😀
@very-rusty saidIn this place we love coffee and we are good at it.
Well one can love coffee and not be able to make a decent cup of it! 😉

@very-rusty saidYou can't run a Tavern without being good at what you serve.
Of course in your opinion you are! 😉 No doubt about that in my mind.
Now if you could learn to make a proper cup of green tea, perhaps an English person could help you with that, I am talking someone who lives in England. 😉

Let's see if we can learn to make that.
@very-rusty saidYou are a spoilsport.
In this case we are in a Fantasy Tavern so you really don't have to make either I guess. 😉

@torunn saidThat's interesting that it is usually beetroot with kalop. That's got to be linked to the lobscouse originally brought to Liverpool by Danish sailors. A lot of overlap. No red cabbage option though?
You eat it with boiled potatoes and pickled beetroot. It's really very nice.
@yo-its-me saidI'm not for sweet for breakfast. I don't even have French Toast with syrup. Even pancakes I have with minimal syrup. I do like blueberries for breakfast, though.
Hey Suzianne,
Don't listen to neilarini. Battenberg is a delicious breakfast. It's got almonds in it and fruit, it's made with eggs and butter.
It might be a little bit sweet for first thing, but I like sweet in the morning, sure that's why we have blueberries in our porridge isn't it.
Here, try it with the gingerbread tea.
@relentless-red saidNo red cabbage to this one. Red cabbage we traditionally eat at Christmas with ham - you will find it in our Christmas smörgåsbord.

Kalops is beef - perhaps you can open this link. https://kommerduihag.se/klassisk-kalops-recept/
@very-rusty saidYes, yes, because the English invented green tea.

Facepalm
@lemondrop saidLets see if you can stick to your proposal which I believe is going to be to difficult for you to do or your buddy goad. You and him are pretty chummy now. I am thinking you two may have bro-mance. Hey, to each his own live and let live I always say! 😉
we need an ignore list for the tavern
I propose that we all just ignore rusty
he adds nothing to the fun of this thread
I vow not to respond to rusty on this thread
I hope others follow
