@great-big-stees saidThey'd automatically shut down the tavern should someone get sick from the fish or any food until they found the problem. Lawyers wouldn't even have a say in that it would happen as soon or shortly after the complaint was lodged.
Well if not the virus certainly the individual. I do so hope this new chef knows what he's doing and the benefactor's pockets are as deep as they appear to be. I think I may have to see, should something untoward happen to one of our patrons who was willing to try the Puffer Fish dish I recommended, if I would be liable. Any lawyers out there? In the meantime, Single Malt Scotch, right hakima?

@very-rusty saidI wasn't concerned about the tavern shutting down, just my own neck. Would I be culpable as the person recommending/serving, the product? 🤔

@great-big-stees saidAs I said earlier: I take no part in this Puff Fish business, my recommendation is our a la carte menu.

@torunn saidI have given the new chef 6 months wages and removed him from the tavern, along with the Puffer Fish stock in the freezer. Now I just hope (fingers crossed) that the one patron whom I served the dish to doesn't end up, "sleeping with the fishes". 😕

@torunn saidIf customer is not sleeping with the fishes by now, I'd say he's escaped it. So has Stees.
