"You get what you pay for." We believe in good quality products and excellent service.
Exactly, but when someone offers to pick up the tab, it is within mine and yours torunn, purview to allow, on occasion, though rare indeed, to do just that but it is also expected that they do indeed pick it up.

The prices, although never collected unless offered, are boldly shown throughout the establishment so he must have known before offering to pay that it would be, somewhat extravagant.

Everyone else knows - extravagance is the word and it comes at a price.

Then, my good sir, haddock it shall be and we'll, just for you, double the fish portion. Tartar sauce on the side and malt vinegar? 🤔

Haddock is the best, never eat Cod, as a kid I worked on the line removing the worms. Of course all the ones get missed once cooked they claim will not hurt you, just the thoughts that you are eating worms is all.

If there are worms in cod, there will be worms in any raw fresh fish. Washington Post: "...Cod worms can infect various saltwater fish, especially cod, Pacific rockfish (also called Pacific red snapper), whiting, mackerel, haddock, herring and salmon..."

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
