I'm American and my favorite thing is toasted English muffins with butter, and a side of cottage cheese. I love English muffins! No coffee or tea since stomach surgery, but I preferred and drank tea. Beans sound good too. Perhaps I was British in my past life? 🙄 Long live the Queen! 😀

English Muffins are an American invention.
They are available in some UK supermarkets.
CRUMPETS are what the British prefer! (God Save The Queen etc.)

Never tried it with poached eggs, although my dad's fav was poached eggs on buttered toast.

They are bought part cooked from bakery and then toasted and laden with butter!
