Just one. My doctoral dissertation on the Bristol stool scale as a
useful surrogate measure not for colon transit time but for blunt
object insertion into the digestive cavity.

I believe I have some original thoughts concerning quantum physics but only because it's so weird
but I'm sure others have had the same thoughts
isn't that weird?

In 1985, I thought I had rediscovered a mostly undocumented and largely forgotten deserted medieval village in Hertfordshire ~ right down to an intriguing Domesday Book entry, anomalies on Ordnance Survey maps, revealing aerial photographs taken in the hot dry summer of 1976, and visits to the site itself ~ and I cobbled together a paper on how I'd determined it was there and then how I'd gone on to locate the possible actual site of the village.

I then suddenly came to realize ~ during a tutorial with my landscape archaeology lecturer ~ that it was - in fact - the well known and extensively examined site of a village abandoned in the C14th, and that my failure to be aware of this was rooted in my disorganized hard drinking student life and me not reading one of the books on the list the lecturer had given me.

Yes, drewnogal. An "Original Thought" for me as a Red Hot Pawn Subscriber since July, 2007, is to finally let my Subscription expire in early January, 2016..

Financial considerations have been overcome during the past eight years and are not in any way my motivation now nor would I discuss it here.

Damn, I was going to let my sub slip also; guess as it's not original now I won't be able to.

it seems to be some sort of badge of honor to inform everyone that there letting their subscription expire
just go
who cares anyway

edit: I just realized that letting your sub expire doesn't mean you will go away
sorry about that but still, who cares

"who cares anyway" ~lemondrop

@lemondrop, I for one give a sweet damn when my good friends here disappear in the dead of night as did @DanTriola and @Mathurine,
respectively "728" and "1,556 Days" ago and as long as I'm still able to access the internet always will. -Bob
