Anita also says: "To keep salad crisp, turn a small saucer upside down in the bottom of the salad bowl. The liquid & water will run down under the plate away from the salad." Note: She publishes the monthly community newsletter, The Courier.

One way to help keep this from happening is to stop and let the tires cool off and to keep your tires inflated properly. But it's also a good idea to give your tires a little shot of liquid nitrogen. It will help to cool that over heated tire wile driving. Just don't add too much.

There is no better deodorant than bicarbonate of soda. After your shower, dip your finger in the powder, spread lightly on each armpit and you are free of stink for the day. 🙂
1. Store belly-button fluff in a bag and use when
sending those fragile gifts by mail.
2. Store ear-wax in an air-tight container - great for
squeaky doors or freeing drawers that stick.
3. Don't waste money on A5 paper - simply buy A4 and a sharp knife.
4. Finger-nail dirt makes great compost.
5. At the barbers ask for your hair back and re-stuff that antique arm-chair.
