General Forum Question for The Day

1. Why is talking with someone who will listen (in person, on the phone
or online) the activity we want and need and do more than any other activity
(including eating, working or sleeping) in the course of a 24 hour day?

Yours truly is always ready to listen to you in any of the three conversational
options we have (but you already know that) and it's always enjoyable.

I usually say it twice just in case someone didn't hear the first time. That way I can say, "Well I said it twice, what? are you deaf?"

Not everyone values and admires the beauty of their own words like you do, Bob. Shame on them, right?

Some are memorable, some not. Simple as that.
