English cheese I like cheddar and Wensleydale
There’s a nice range of flavoured cheddars produced in Wales called Snowdonia. I’ve tried the Amber Mist which is flavoured with Scotch Whiskey.

It tastes good but is so crumbly and messy.

True, but when in a steak and stilton pasty or broccoli and stilton soup, this is not an issue. It makes everything better!

The pasty sounds good and love the soup.

As has been previously mentioned the king of cheeses has to be Stilton, particularly the blue variety which has penicillium roqueforti added, and the best, in my opinion is Colston Bassett. Heaven with a glass (or two) of vintage Port.
A word of warning: never buy from a supermarket! Only buy from a reputable cheesemonger.
