I didn't click that. There are so many people, throughout history, that needed to believe. Bobby, there are a very great many of gods. Exactly none of them has made a case. I'd think if there was anything real that could make a case, it would be a god.

Why do you suppose your god chooses to be a mystery?

If a guy desired to give you a gift
of inestimable value and you said to him,
"Shove it" would he be to blame for your loss?
You're wandering around in the dark.

I'm pretty sure that this creator guy does not need to keep it a secret.

If God came down from Heaven (ala Morgan Freeman or George Burns) and walked you through it, eventually proving to your face He was real, could you still choose to not believe in Him?

Exactly. Humans must choose God through Faith, of their own Free Will, not by having it proven to them beyond all doubt.

Proof is the antithesis of Faith, and therefore God cannot be proven to anyone, except to those who have already made their decision and have chosen Him through Faith.

Didn't god create man in his own image?

Just as a mirror image is not good or evil, neither was man, until he decided to disobey God and accept evil.

So god was neither good or bad before man accepted evil.

The devil has never killed the entire planet-full of innocent children. Just saying.

There are lots of deities, based on literature. Man did not accept evil for not buying into your favorite. You know, that creator who is completely absent.

Bobby, I'm trying to pick your brain here a little. Heaven and hell, the difference where we go depends on what we believe? It does not matter whether we are good or bad?

Yes, the issue is faith alone in Christ alone. "He who believes in the Son has
eternal life; but he who does not obey [the command to believe in] the Son
shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." (John 3:36)

Following faith [confidence, trust] in Christ our purpose is to glorify God in time. In so doing, to realize the peace, happiness and contentment that come from learning Bible Doctrine and advancing to spirituality maturity. Only through learning from accurate teaching will the absolute truth of God's Word become the measure of your conscience, thinking and source of a relaxed mental attitude that reflects the Mind of Christ. Learning who and what Christ is, you begin to share His thinking. God commands us to think divine viewpoint so that his grace purpose for our lives can be fulfilled. (Our conversation is more appropriate for Personal Messages than in a general forum. The door is always open. My Iggy's almost eight years old and still a virgin.)

So the people around you, it does not matter if they are good, but if they fail to believe your belief, the get eternity in hell?
