? It’s easy. Citizens of this country for the benefit of having Healthcare on every corner, pay in certain amounts of money in taxes. The government with that money pays 80% of the bills of people who are qualified by this program, which is called Medicare.
Stay with me, I think I’ve lost you at this point. I’ll keep trying. We will pretend that you are just funnin ...[text shortened]... the government now. Will take care of that 20%. We all want to know where that money will come from.
I just pointed out that 20% seems to me a bit of a scam, overpricing themselves compared pound for pound with medicare, we pay some 300 for medicare so the first 80% for 300 or so a month but the next 20 comes at the same price give or take so pound for pound supplimentals should be more like 100 dollars a month not three times that. Oh BTW, that ain't GOVERNMENT, those are private companies.

It is my understanding that the USA is the wealthiest country in the world.
Am I mistaken?

You buy into the Iran is suicidal conspiracy theory. Right?
Funny how they are fighting so hard to survive. Quite strange for suicidal people.
Ha, why don’t you entertain us with your thoughts on the suicidal Iranians. Tell us why they think and why they reason. That would be a laugh. Animals.

Those are two diffferent arguments you see. Look.
The United States can take on enormous costs when national security is involved.
The USA could make different spending and budgets priorities when it comes to health care.
I googled actual numbers. A small thinker will be surprised….yourthoughts have zero bearing.
look at the actual numbers.
The Iran war was estimated to have cost approximately $47.1 billion by October 16, 2026, according to a Pentagon estimate reported by AP.
Total U.S. health care spending was approximately $5.3 trillion in 2024, according to CMS.
That means the estimated war cost represents less than 1% of one year's American health care spending.
So, no, the war money could not pay for all health care in America. But it could pay for a meaningful amount of health care.
so, You're making a comparison between two very different expenses. Nobody is suggesting that the money spent on the Iran war war could pay for all health care in America. The point is that we somehow find tens of billions of dollars for military operations without treating the national perations without treating the national debt as an insurmountable obstacle, yet when it comes to ensuring Americans can afford health care, suddenly we're told there's no money. Get Real, kingrat.
If you’re argument is that we cannot afford universal health care, then let's have an honest discussion about the actual costs, funding mechanisms, and priorities.

But don't pretend that the national debt only matters when we're talking about taking care of Americans.
You cannot say that questioning our priorities is not the same as claiming two expenses cost the same amount.
Ask Sonhouse and Marsuder if you don’t believe me.
These budget areas are not connected.

PS it is a shame that you will not be a good debater and respond directly to this post. Why don’t you get King rat to write it for you? Gets tiring. Your friend son house compares the riot at the capital to the animals,, which Susie calls your brothers. who burned down Portland and other cities

Then go to dc with your algorithmic mind and straighten it all out. Or better, just read what just explained to MB an take a cold shower.

Don't know what you are on now, Vodka? Ludes? I just made a simple comment that medicare pays 80% and you turn that into what you think is a tirade. I don't think you had any medical work done just spouting more lies like Trump does every time he talks.
Sorry, I was under the impression from your post that you were discontented with our insurance program in this country. So you have Medicare, and you have supplemental insurance. You have not actually told us that. So tell us that you have that, and then tell us what is your problem. Do you see how simple now that discussions can be?

So the taxpayers paying for the first 80% is OK, but taxpayers paying for the last 20% is stealing or something?
No it is a choice of Bill Citzen, who on the same day decides to buy auto insurance and health insurance. He makes a choice to buy both although the state has now required that he auto insurance. But supplemental insurance is optional. It is a choice if he gets sick without that he has to be 80% out of his pocket and leave us all the hell else alone. . If we chip in for him, then he will ask us to pay for his auto insurance..

Funny, almost all other developed countries (and many that are not so developed) manage to pay almost 100% of their People's medical expenses (at lower cost than the US system) yet none pay for their People's auto insurance.

Puzzling ain't it.

I have a question for those of you who have been so critical of me since the election.

So here's my question: If you or someone you love were suddenly sick and needed that same care, wouldn't you want to be able to walk into a hospital and receive it, too?
Healthcare isn't a political party. It's something every human being may need at any moment. And when that moment ...[text shortened]... people the care they need matters more than which side of the political aisle they happen to be on.
You do know there is a political force actively working against reasonably priced healthcare, right?

If the constitution is on the side of the pursuit of happiness, but people can be devastated financially by seeking medical treatment to the extent that they don’t seek treatment and suffer leading to a reduced life expectancy for a condition that is a small road bump in other 1st world countries, then keep asking questions, but don’t gaslight us into obscuring the source of the problem.

Stop trying to evade my questions. Apparently I have to ask a single question at a time and hold you to it until I get an answer.

Do we live in the wealthiest country in the world or not?
