The soviet leadership were lefties. They have universal health care.
You are being selective when comparing countries to Russia in regards to standard of living. The USA has a huge wealth gap divide. Does Russia?
Let's compare Putin to a coal miner. Yeah, I'd say the gap is pretty huge.

No they were old school imperialists that’s why nato expanded because their ex colonies in Eastern and Central Europe wanted to be sure they wouldn’t come back.
The argument against nato from the perspective of that part of Europe is like arguing that African nations should not form an alliance to prevent the return of the British Empire because it might be a bit threatening to the British.
All Russians have to do is stay in Russia like the Poles stay in Poland. There is only one aggressor here.

LOL! As if Russia is imperialist and the USA is not. You do realize that communists have always called capitalists imperialists, right?

Why are invasions only bad when the other side does them? Only people who commit war crimes against your side are war criminals. Why?

It’s truly amazing that in one thread you manage to say something quite wise like this and at the same time manage to drivel to the extent of: “Burisma, Zelensky And Hunter Biden's Ties To Neo Nazi Funder The Convo Couch”.

I take it one of the posts is pre-med.

Did you watch the video about the Neo Nazi ties to Barisma? How do you know that is not equally wise? Let me guess, you rejected it before you watched it out of incredulity alone, right?

Did you have the same reaction when you heard about Jean-Luc Brunel?

Right we’ll at the very least we have the right to form a well armed alliance against imperialist Russia so what are you and No1 whingeing about.
Your arguing that Europe should lay down its arms and accept bring colonised by an imperial Russian army because we are a bit imperialist ourselves. No we need to smash Russia until it gives up its imperial dreams to its west. They should try expanding to the east, oh no hang on.

Why would Russia try to expand east? According to China, Russia is their biggest strategic partner.

What about the USA's imperial dreams? Who has invaded more countries, the USA or Russia?

Russia does not have to take cities quickly. He is surrounding them and denying them food and supplies. When they get hungry enough they will lay down their arms and surrender.

On 11 March 2014, both the Supreme Council of Crimea and the Sevastopol City Council adopted a declaration of independence, which stated their intent to declare independence and request full accession to Russia should the pro-Russian option receive the most votes during the scheduled status referendum. The declaration directly referred to the Kosovo independence precedent, by which the Albanian-populated Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija declared independence from Russia's ally Serbia as the Republic of Kosovo in 2008—a unilateral action Russia staunchly opposed. Many analysts saw the Crimean declaration as an overt effort to pave the way for Crimea's annexation by Russia

Crimea voted to be part of Russia again, but if you watch the fascist corporate news they will say he invaded by force to misrepresent what really happened. Democracy allowed it.
