@chessturd saidSo you agree that a ban on guns will prevent mass killings in mosques.
No need to.
Plenty of sidewalks with more people.
Good.
You have made a start.

@chessturd saidAre you stupid?
No need to.
Plenty of sidewalks with more people.
You people don't have a clue. You think gun laws will stop mass killings.
Let's say you win and all guns are banned.
When you turn on the news and see a mass killing with no guns what will you say then?
Remember Timothy McVeigh? He killed 168 people with a truck and fertilizer bombs.
People will kill people with anything.
Using this as an excuse to do nothing about guns is the worst kind of stupid.

@chessturd saidI believe less availability of guns will prevent mass shootings.

When you turn on the news and see a mass killing with no guns what will you say then?
Which will mean less mass killings, and less efficient mass killings.
When I turn on my tv and see a mass killing and see a mass killing, I ask
"How can we prevent that happening again?"
What do you do?

@chessturd saidIf everyone thought like you
I don't waste my time thinking about something that will never change.
... you would be correct.

@chessturd saidNo CC permit in NZ.
@Suzianne
After the Ban on assault rifles they will come after your CC permit and handguns.
Don't start crying then.
We are talking about NZ aren't we?
@wolfgang59
Suzianne said she had a CC permit.
I don't care about NZ. Mass killings happen everywhere. NZ isn't special. Never has been.
Isn't NZ Australia's younger, slightly retarded brother?
NZ is a non-issue when it comes world politics and issues.
Go play with a kiwi grandpa.
@wolfgang59 saidI would not punish people that had nothing to do with it.

The police were warned a number of times about the gun club this nutcase belonged to. The existing NZ gun laws were sufficient to prevent the shooter being in possession of these weapons, but they were not acted on.
Do not blame innocent people, do not punish innocent people, do not paint all gun owners with the same brush, how many times do we hear that exact thing about muzzies.
@wolfgang59 saidWorldwide, bombings seem to be the preferred method for mosques and churches.
So you agree that a ban on guns will prevent mass killings in mosques.
Good.
You have made a start.

@chessturd saidGiven the greater rate of mass killings in the U.S. compared to most other places, do you think that Americans are just innately more inclined towards mass killings?
I don't waste my time thinking about something that will never change.
More laws won't stop mass killings.
People need to change. Not the laws.
@zahlanzi saidAmerica is not a “reasonable society” by any stretch of the meaning.
