There is no question Trump played Kim up.

I'm not laughing at that. It is what it is

Btw, y'all, I wish I could have cherry-picked the parts I wanted to display in this
thread, but the WSJ has this policy lol, and they no longer will let me read their
articles without joining. That, after I had read it the first time.

Oh, well.

I would certainly consider the choice of the word Democratic for use in the name of the country to be propaganda as opposed to accuracy!
Yes, excellent point.

I think the words Democratic, People's, and Republic are not accurate, aka, propaganda.

I'll bet if we could go back in time, you could easily identify the dominant male
amongst the cave people. It happens in so many species.
Not ours, at least as we existed for the vast majority of our time on Earth. Here's a basic read for ya: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunter-gatherer

The section "Social and economic structure" is what I am referring to.

Here's something interesting regarding health care:

"Humans are the only species to have evolved cooperative care-giving as a strategy for disease control. A synthesis of evidence from the fossil record, paleogenomics, human ecology, and disease transmission models, suggests that care-giving for the diseased evolved as part of the unique suite of cognitive and socio-cultural specializations that are attributed to the genus Homo."

Seems like universal health care is part of our DNA.

In the days of horrific animal research it was discovered that if you have two mammals in a cage and one has their salivary glands removed the other mammal's wounds heal less well. This alerted people to the factors in saliva that promote wound healing. Was the evolutionary advantage because it allowed the mammals to offer each other healing?

Do you think you have social inequality in your country?
Maybe you do but communism is never going to eliminate that
regardless of what they say, pre-revolution.
You didn't really want to discuss North Korea did you?

Good prose and good communication are dependent on the
audience. By your own admission you are a poor communicator
if your "complex sentences" are frequently beyond the
understanding of other posters on RHP. (Just a thought.)

The article is rather long and not the easiest reading for a non-specialist but:

" That we are the only species to have evolved widespread, cooperative care-giving for ill individuals suggests that it evolved as a response to conditions that only occurred in the human lineage."

This suggests the trait is unique among humans.
