The five permanent members are recognized in ALL aspects of the UN.

I think I see the reason for your ignorance now.

    Your hole is getting deeper.

“ The General Committee is composed of the President of the General Assembly and 21 Vice-Presidents of the Assembly and the Chairmen of the six Main Committees. The five permanent members of the Security Council serve as Vice-Presidents, as well.

No because Mexico is also a permanent member your still getting the UN security council mixed up with the general assembly of the UN.
Mott has out a some effort into this semester but he must try harder.
It’s good that your admitting that China, France, Russia and the UK are all equal to the USA though, it’s a good start.

    Wiki
“ Voting in the General Assembly on certain important questions—namely recommendations on peace and security; budgetary concerns; and the election, admission, suspension or expulsion of members—is by a two-thirds majority of those present and voting. Other questions are decided by a simple majority. Each member country has one vote.”

Here is a great idea. Forget AvJoe. I will, instead of saying that 'I' am successful, and did good planning, etc. , I will say James Williams, a successful guy in Kansas City is successful and did good planning. How bout that. Then you won't have to go after AvJoe personally. Cool
So, James Williams minds his own business, a huge conservative, tithes to the church , ten percent, does great things, kids are on the straight and narrow. He made investments early on, worked instead of throwing frisbee and marching (do y'all actually Call it marching?), and all is well with James. He could not believe that your president said,, yesterday, that your governor and others are guilty of 'Neanderthal Thinking'. You realize, of course, that he is calling them stupid.
So what do you think of James?

No, Mexico is not a permanent member. General assembly resolutions are >non binding<.

Permanent members do not have to veto general assembly resolutions, they can just ignore them.

Well that’s probably because James is a crypto fascist turd Joe who thinks it's ok to put peoples lives at risk to appease thumps idiotic base.
How could you have spent four years cheering on Trump every time he bad mouthed a governor even to the point of encouraging violence against them but now your clutching your pearls like a 50yr old spinster at a ‘Magic Mike’ gig.
Are we supposed to take you people seriously?

Uh, of course he may have taken exception to actions of governors,, esp in instances where they would normally defer to the party? He would comment on their policies, not their brains being neanderthal. I am going to assume you can see the difference. But except for his comedic name calling 'lying ted' 'sleepy joe' etc, (that is politics) he was not as mean spirited as is Joe.
Joe? Joe is angry. Just like all of he liberals on this thread. Angry.

now you are adding words to your original statement...

Original..." But they still have one vote at the UN as does the US. "

Now..."Yes moron Mexico is a permanent member of the UN general assembly"

    Why are you being deceptive?
