Anyone can entertain questions. And many do. Comedians for example. Or real elected politicians at Town Hall events.
Charlie Kirk doesn't appear to have made a name for himself just for doing this. And I have not seen any clips where he tries in any meaningful way to find common ground or understand someone with another point of view. He would tell gay people they should ...[text shortened]... eel better about themselves. It's not language that should be considered heroic or worthy of praise.

One thing I've learned by reading media reports is that he was all in favour of Americans having guns, and then he gets killed by (presumably) an American with a gun. Quite what this 'proves' about the rightness or wrongness of his philosophy is debatable, but one cannot miss the irony or pathos.
