Thread on the wonders of communism?

Your other nutty conspiracy theories are irrelevant.

All that matters legally is what was the situation at the scene where and when Babbitt was shot.
Put yourself in the cops and shoes and get back to me, excuse you don’t get back to me get back to the forum, I don’t care about January 6. You can say that as a cop out if you want to, but it is become quite boring and I am busy. I am busy trying to save my stuff from people like you. No offense, of course.
Did you see where metal brain has been invited to tell us all about communism. Get ready to jump in and of course you will not have to research anything.!!!!!!

What the heck are you talking about? Do you even know?
Dam, I really liked to this post! It must have been inconvenient for you so you flippantly say I don’t know what I’m talking about.
Well, I will admit you’re not knowing what I’m talking about January 6, because I was not there on the campus. But I do know what I’m talking about with this particular post.
Bring it. Read it again it is very easy to understand..

"No police officers died on the actual calendar day of January 6, 2021. However, five responding law enforcement officers died in the immediate days and months following the attack due to medical emergencies and suicides connected to the trauma of that day"

Yeah, just because they died later doesn't negate the FACT they fking DIED as a direct result of Jan 6 INSURRECTION. ...[text shortened]... to call it something else, it was an insurrection and
WOULD HAVE KILLED PENCE IF THEY FOUND HIM.
killed him with what? no one was armed

That's exactly the point; the legal standard is to put yourself in the shooter's shoes and ask whether a reasonable person would be justified in using deadly force to protect himself or others from imminent serious injury or death under the circumstance.

I regard the chance that any jury would answer "no" in this case as so unlikely as to make a settlement esp. of this amount, as nothing more than a politically motivated gift to Babbitt's heirs.

You are correct. If she had had a gun, it would not be unreasonable. However, you suggest that he knew she did Not have a gun, and if that were the case, yes, he was unreasonable to shoot her if he knew she did not have a gun.
I was not aware that he knew she did not have a gun. So he was wrong to shoot her. That was a tough scenario, given that people with all of those clothes and funny hats could’ve had guns secreted on their person all over the place. That is quite an onus, to put on the cop to know whether they had guns or not.

How did they know?

Guns or not, this was a violent mob intent on reaching defenseless civilians who they intended to stop from "stealing" the election from Donald Trump. This mob had already attacked and injured over a 100 police officers using weapons like clubs, bats, hockey sticks, etc. and most of those cops were wearing protective riot gear. Why should the officer not assume they would inflict serious injuries or even death on the House members and their staff a few feet away?

They had pocket knives just like that teenager who stabbed the other teen. Was he armed or not?

I carry a pocket knife as do millions of others . It doesn’t become a weapon unless the person uses it as one. Damn you libs are ignorantly stupid…and are proud of it

A tire tool, a kitchen knife, a rock can be weapons

?
Yes, the officers should have assumed that the rioters would have inflicted harm.
We all agree with that.
Don’t get your point. For that matter, we all agree that immigrants are good for the country.
The debates are getting a little off track as far as I’m concerned.

Ray Epps should have been shot instead of Ashli. He did far more to cause a riot than she did.

And I bet you are totally ok with Trump pardoning all of them including the ones who attacked policemen and some of those cops died maybe not that day but later and they WOULD be alive if it had not been for Jan 6.
