It appears that police cameras are good all the way round. They provide the public with an element of safety so that officers will do their jobs correctly, and the behavior of civilians also seems to improve, along with reducing false charges against police officers.

As for the whole privacy issue, privacy is a thing of the past with Big Brother.

Actually, I'm in favor of police cams.

Originally police refused to wear them, thinking it would used against them. However, what they have found is, when people know they wear them, they are on their best behavior, but when people are oblivious to them, then the police are often vindicated on bogus charges of racism, sexual harassment, etc.

If only the cams were made unable to be turned off or muted.

BTW, what you have are emails doctored by the Russians, and so they are worthless. This is why every federal law enforcement agency has refused to continue a useless investigation of these emails.

Video surveillance is great, but we are just now at a turning point where videos can be doctored up without the observer being able to tell. Once this technology gets refined and perfected, video footage won't be reliable anymore. Then what.

http://www.fox4news.com/news/woman-who-falsely-accused-dps-trooper-of-rape-won-t-face-additional-charges

Here is a story of a woman who falsely accused a police man of rape but the camera showed the woman was lying.

No charges will be brought to the woman? She should have the same fate that the police officer would have had, had he been found guilty.

No justice.
