or....or.....hey, I could go on and on, but won't. These are all worthy.
You can't talk about the Piano Man in the same sentence as Mickey. Ok, so it might not be to everyones taste, but it never qualifies as the worst tune of all time - Billy Joel is too good a song writer. There are so many worse to choose from...
The Birdie Song?
The Gay Gordons?
Anything from the Eurovision Song contest?
I like a lot of Billy Joel songs. Piano Man, however, is sophomoric and self indulgent, with an inane melody line and lyrics that can only be described as being written during spasms of narcolepsy. It is the great fortune of society at large that one is highly unlikely to encounter it on classic 70's radio any longer. Were it not for the British National Anthem I would be stridently pushing this as worst song ever.

This almost makes me rethink my list; all are worthy.
