Anyways, Electric Warrior is a truly great album.
Electric Warrior has some great tracks, but some embarrassing ones too.

The Slider was Bolan's masterpiece.

Apparently his star was on the wane by the time of his death, and his post-Slider (1972) releases weren't all that great.

Shyte, the frekin' Pope is to release a CD, man!

http://www.warwickdailynews.com.au/story/2009/07/31/label-to-release-pope-benedict-xvi-album/

Pope Benedict XVI will release an album on which he sings and recites prayers to the Virgin Mary, his label says.

The pontiff's as-yet-untitled album also includes eight original pieces of contemporary classical music, Geffen/Universal said.

It is speculated that the guest bands and musicians will be: Elvis Costello, Andrea Bocelli, Shakira, and the White Stripes.

ELVIS.

Having thought through the options Elvis, although looking like a clichéd choice, has to be a major loss to popular music. It's strange that no one else has mentioned him here and although he became obese, his voice never left him and I feel that he had another dimension musically.

I don't agree. Electric Warrior is an album that really stood out for me, while Slider was OK but nothing special. But maybe I should give that one another listen.

Michael Jackson.
I would love to have seen what his face would've looked like at 70

If I could have recorded one album that somebody else recorded from the last few years, it would be Global A Go Go by Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros.

My brother's neighbor. He died of e-coli at the age of three from hamburgers his mother cooked on the grill. See Kevin's Law: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h109-3160
