Thank you, that’s very kind of you, I sent a lot of messages out to people and it paid off. My goal is to pass all the clans around me within striking distance, ending in 7th or 8th place. I agree about this year and hope to be full before next year. We were actually able to accept a 16 point challenge now, bigger clan membership is needed to assume larger amounts of points. Back in reality, it shouldn't take a large amount of effort to run a successful clan. It should take a reasonable amount of effort and simplified (and automated) where possible to encourage sustained interest and competition.

I don't know that 60 hours a weeks is required to be successful. I think it is more important knowing the players their strengths and weaknesses in my humble opinion.
It will take @mike just a few years to get in the groove of making the challenges and figuring players real strength's out. We all know most play under their true rating with few exception. I myself bounce from 1200's to 1500's as is well known and often said by my self. This is do to my big game load.
Yourself among other good players have told me if I reduced my games I would increase my rating and maintain it, which is most likely right on the money. The thing is I love playing the game.

You guys already have a better clan but need to fill in with some 1400-1600 players in my humble opinion. I don't think @mike69 will be passing you or catching you anytime soon. I hope he can prove me wrong, but I doubt it very much. 😉

it's all great talking about challenging for the top etc but at the end of the day what i have always enjoyed about the clans is being part of the clan, yes winning is good and we all want to, but the friendships i have made through the clan and that are still ongoing far outweigh the aim of being top of something that i guess doesn't really matter, in the 20 years i have been on RHP all of those i consider my best friends have all been throught the clan

I have to hand it to you in a few days you've doubled your clan and good range of ratings too 7 more and you will be one of the few clans with 20 players!!!! Well Done, I must say I was quite impressed.
