About RevRSleeker

I never 'guard' my rate here, message me and I'll consider a game, banter is always welcome! I do however resent 'welcome to the site' games that are just an excuse for a new member to test his programme re:Game 10259874..you're wasting your time, proving nothing. Most enjoyable gameGame 7047772 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.Nf3 O-O 6.Be2 e5 7.O-O Nc6 8.d5 Ne7 (Maybe THE standard variation of KID)..forward to 15.hxg6 Nxg6 (the only move,I think) (15...hxg6 16.Qxd6 Rf6 17.Qd2 g5 18.b3 there is no compensation for the Pawn) 16. Qxd6 Rf6 17. Qd2 h5 (nothing, what else?) 18.Rf2 hxg4 (18...Nh4 19. Ng2 hxg4 20.Nxh4 g3 21.Rg2 Rh6 22.Nf5 Qb6+ 23.Ne3 Qd8 24.Ng4 Qb6+ and Black can force a Draw,I think ) 19.Rh2+ Kg8 20.fxg4 Qe7 21.b3 What else ? Black has regrouped his army around his King,White is a Pawn up, but g4 can become weak very quickly.Ndf8 The first step in the wrong direction, looks solid somehow,Black is still under the impression of the former attack and wants to secure the Kings side 22.a4 (Makes sense, there are two wings and since Black has nearly abandoned his Queens side...) Ne6 23.Ba3 Qe8 24.Qd3 (with the idea Qh3 I guess is right ?) Nd4 ( Finally see it !! ) 25.g5 (The right idea, the Knight on d4 is better than Bishop on e2) Rf7 26.Bh5 Rd7 27.Ne2 (Maybe I missed the 'strong answer' here Qe6 (Blacks missed the best way to equalise here and a blunder..) (27...Nb5 of course 28.Qf3 Nxa3 29.Rxa3 (and Black is back in business !) 28.Nxd4 exd4 29..Ng2 Ne5 30.Qf1 Ng6 (blunder) 31.Nxf4 Nxf4 32.Qxf4 Qe5 (Not sure whether exchanging Queens is a good plan, leads to an endgame with two Pawns minus and no hope) 33.Qf5 (33.Qh4 Bf8 34.Bxf8 Kxf8 35.Rf1+ (and all white pieces join the party) 33...d3 The lethal blunder, leads to checkmate. Credit Peter for spotting the 'obvious'!Game 7826172Well done Frank 🙂(Ablunder but you held out!)
I admit great passion for Classic\Vintage m'bikes.Birman cats another, presently 'Romulus' and 'Abbs
