seems like a fair price with Kershaw likely to get 3 starts if needed
but the astros bats might be coming to life
watch out!!
The city of Houston could use something to cheer about in the aftermathe of hurricane Harvey

edit: 3 starts might be unlikely but if it goes to 7 I think Kershaw would be available

Kershaw bombed against Bumgarner more than once in the playoffs a couple years ago. Verlander is a potential deja vu, similar style and work ethic. Classic battle of Hollywood vs Blue Collar.

Kershaw probably won't be facing Verlander in the series
I'm watching the series now and Kershaw looks good

I never understood why people claim players who never actually square off would go against each other.

Pitchers pitch against batters, not other pitchers.

Fun, fun fun!!

I would say pitcher vs the other team's batters.

Is baseball a team sport or is it just two guys having at it?

A minute ago you were stating a ridiculous fact that pitchers don't pitch against pitchers. Pitchers often bat in games. How often......I don't have precise statistics but it sure is not never.

Your not one of the sharpest tools in the shed are you.

in the national league it happens all the time
in the american league they have the designated hitter and so do not face eachother

How often is the pitcher's bat a deciding factor in the game.

The same kind of thing happens in football and quarterbacks.

The rest of the team doesn't matter and simpletons only compare the star player.
