Maybe you should lobby for Australian Boomerang as an Olympic sport.

"There are different types of throwing contests: accuracy of return; Aussie round; trick catch; maximum time aloft; fast catch; and endurance"

ref: wikipedia on boomerang.

details of these are at

http://beholders.org/body/unusualsports/162-boomerangs.html

including a video on how to throw them.

Eh, don't knock it. You have almost twice as many medals as we do, for only a quarter or so more people.

Ok, granted, for a nation as downright obsessed with sports as the Convicts, that is disastrous.

You're onto something there. Lets face it : any sport can make it at the Olympics with a good enough PR campaign.

On the contrary. There would still be the wedges that your Liberal Party drives between the people.
