Islam is spreading because there are more and more ignorant and foolish people in this world who don't have a clue to the difference between true religion and false religion.

You would think ........that because of all the bad press that Islam is receiving for its continuous acts of violence and murder, that no one would want anything to do with Islam.

It is attracting all the nutter,s.

A younger religion means a fabricated religion.

And a fabricated religion means a false religion.

True religion is eternal...........and has been with man since the dawn of time.

Meat is food, so it is not cruel to eat food. It is simply a natural way to survive. 😏

Just so I know, how do you know who is a Christian, and who is a Muslim?
If you are born into a family of either faith, does that mean you are now
that faith you are born into, or do you actually have to take it upon yourself
to be one? As a Christian I have to tell you that is not the case automatically.

Link to what appears to be the actual survey in question.
[would help if this kind of thing were in the OP.]

http://www.pewforum.org/2015/04/02/religious-projections-2010-2050/

The dominant factor is population growth in predominantly Muslim areas
[mostly in Africa].

Switching religions plays only a minor role [in their analysis] with by far the
biggest NET transfer being OUT of Christianity and INTO not-affiliated [including
but not limited to atheism]. However this is of the order of only 60~65 million people.***

Which is relatively insignificant in the grander scheme of things.

In absolute terms the number of Christians is due to rise, maintaining the same
percentage of global population.

However the faster growth of the Muslim religion means that it will catch up, and then
overtake... However, not in North America, where it's forecast to remain a small minority.

IF the current trends continue into the future.

That is, as ever, a big IF...

***You will note that a shift of 60~65 MILLION people here is being treated as a minor
or relatively insignificant demographic shift. That is because when you are dealing with
groups of BILLIONS of people [~9.5bill] 65 million makes up ~0.7% of the total...
Why is this important? Well for those suggesting that massacres will have a significant
effect on the outcome are expecting us to believe that we will experience massacres of
many more than 65 million, well into the hundreds of millions, to have a significant impact...
Which would be warfare on a scale greater than WWII...
A few terrorist incidents do not a world war make.

As a farther note... As the population growth of Islam is due to population growth in
Muslim countries... The growth doesn't continue indefinitely, while it may be set to
equal Christianity in roughly 2070 [probably plus/minus a decade] it is still within 1% point
by the year 2100. This is due to world population growth slowing and stopping at about
that time.

So what this is actually forecasting is that within reasonable margins for error, Christianity
and Islam will have roughly equal numbers of adherents by the end of the century.
With both populations either growing slightly, or remaining static.

Some animals are obligate carnivores, but not humans.

Actually, it is my understanding that you can be born into the Muslim faith
so that was why I asked. If those suggesting the numbers are all family
members from either faith they are making assumptions that cannot be
validated or in my opinion be truthful.

Feel free to correct me, I don't study the Muslim beliefs so I could be wrong
about this.

You cannot know what I am, I can tell you what I want to you know, but
that does not always translate into the truth. People can go to church, but
do they know the Lord? People go to Burger King, that does not make them
a hamburger. Christians are those who know and serve God through Jesus
Christ, anyone can make the claim, reality could be quite different.
