What God expects...

Of Unbelievers: An objective hearing, if interested, and the uncoerced excercise of free will.

Of Believers in Christ: Obedience, frequent relaxed converstions and growth to maturity.

Believers - Gal 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Unbelievers - Not sure but Solomon said this ..

Ecc 3:10-13 I have seen the travail which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised therewith. He hath made everything beautiful in its time: also he hath set eternity in their heart, yet so that man cannot find out the work that God hath done from the beginning even to the end. I know that there is nothing better for them, than to rejoice, and to do good so long as they live. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy good in all his labor, is the gift of God.

How very conceited, self-centered and selfish to think that if there really is a God he or she would really care what our feeling are towards said super-being. When you see a bird in the window, do you hope it thinks "Wow, there's galveston! So cool"!

Then he/she/it should show itself and speak up. Coincidentally, such "shyness" at coming forwards is what I'd expect if "God" didn't exist!

He has already revealed Himself and His Plan through His Written Word. "Coming forward isn't even an issue. Inaudibly in the privacy of your own soul you can tell Him you are placing your confidence in His uniquely born son. Christ's substitutionary spiritual death on your behalf assures your eternal salvation. In that moment of time you become an adopted child of God.

I don't believe they are the word of "God", furthermore if it exists it should know this (being omniscient and all).
It'll have to do better than that if it wants a fair hearing from me 🙂

no expectations at all for any body of philosophy. it is a playground of eternity for learning and experiencing. mistakes must be allowed to occur as they will.

"... any body of philosophy."

Curious phrase as well as choice of preposition. Does "body" connote plural as in 'student body' or 'body of knowledge' or did "body" become unhitched from the word 'anybody'? What is it for a body to belong to a particular subject? Could you possibly recast your sentence stating your message using different words or confirm that your meaning if in fact conveyed by the plural?
