Yeah, FOX 'news', what a joke.
Sometimes progressive groups complain that they hire too many attractive women, and I think, "no! don't protest that! that's the only redeeming thing about it!" 😛
(and no, I can't just turn it off if I don't like it; there are several TVs at work that only show FOX).

Here in the states, monsters like Dr. Gosnell collect babies in glass jars and puts them on his desk as trophies. I'm not sure which is worse.

See, just because it is on Fox News does not mean that it's not real, contrary to the programming you have received.
Interestingly, the hospitals have been told to stop the practice. Why? Isn't it just a glob of tissue like an appendix that is incinerated? No one is jumping up and down about that, so why are they getting so upset over this I wonder?

EDIT: The only [potential] issue here is whether or not the prospective parents were
treated respectfully and sensitively. Beyond the prospective parents emotions
there is no difference between an aborted foetus and an appendix from the
perspective of disposal.
Both are hazardous materials that need safe disposal, cremation is a good method
of rendering the materials safe, and using the waste heat to help heat the hospital
is a good way of reclaiming some of the energy expended in cremation.
If you are going to have the remains cremated, how is reclaiming the waste heat a
bad thing?
Papers need things to make a fuss about, it's how they sell copy.

Incidentally - we had our baby daughter cremated - if that heat had
been used for some useful purpose we would have consented in an instant.

completed form asking me what I want to happen to the crap they
remove from my shoulder.
