Then you do no think anything wrong with mechanical slaughter houses offering up cruelty and suffering and death for profit............and the absurdly of the very bad economic disaster in using good land to manufacture a small amount of flesh in comparison to using the same land to grow 50 X times more agricultural food instead for the people.

Yes you have not thought that one through have you?

But to be a slave of the tongue to taste flesh......you would not care the least about any of those issues I have mentioned.

You and I have had debates about this dozens and dozens of times so, yes, I have thought it through, as you well know. I oppose cruelty to animals but I do not oppose them being slaughtered to produce food. I realize that you do. And I respect your right to believe what you want to believe about yourself and about animals.

Read your Bible. It tells you quite clearly the name of God. It's all through there. You have to read between the lines.
The meat eaters who have speculated have invented a name for God have they?

The only true names for God are in the eternal Vedas.

The names of God described in the Vedas are eternal.

Is the name you use eternal .....or did it come to us all only recently in man,s short history?

You will find it was created recently in man,s history........meaning it has been manufactured by mundane meat eating, fornicating, intoxicating, deceitful and ignorant man..............the same types who actually wrote the Bible as well.

Any person who believes the Bible is the word of God is the greatest of fools and have not researched anything of the Bible or the history of religion.

To not research that which you defend is ............insanity.

It is as clear as your use of semantic quibbles to avoid the discussion.

Do you know what you are talking about? 🙄
Governor James Hogg of Texas named his two daughters Ima and Ura. So when asked their name, one would say Ima Hogg and the other one would say Ura Hogg. I wonder how hard it was for Ura Hogg to make friends. 😏

Well, I agree with you. It's just I was making a different point. In fact, your response elucidates part of my point.

You agree with Dasa?

"The only true names for God are in the eternal Vedas.

The names of God described in the Vedas are eternal."

That is what Dasa said and you agree with that?

I still think that you are just trolling.

My semantic quibbling is mainly the result of
boredom but in all honestly I did not and do
not know what you are trying to say.

Do you believe the name of god is explicit in the bible?
Or implicit?
(I dont think you can have it both ways but I could
be convinced ... maybe)

And whether explicit/implicit. What name do you go with?

My friend, this is a slippery topic, and most of those present are not ready to hear it. Feel free to pm me if you really want to discuss.

Out of curiosity why do you think those who believe in the Bible and that it is the Word of God are fools? What god are you referring to when you speak of god?

I went to Hogg Junior High School in Tyler, Texas and that is not what my teacher told me.

P.S. Are you saying we can't believe our teachers anymore. Perhaps this evolution rumor from teachers is not true either. 😏
