"Be devoted to one another in love..." (Romans 12:10, NIV)

I was thinking: what would happen if we all would live like
that? I mean, it is mind blowing! Just to picture it I get shivers.
A world in which we would be preoccupied with living in a way
that it would show love to others.

Man, it would be like those monkeys, who get in line to check
and dispose of each others' fleas. I could do it for my brother
in front of me knowing that someone is having my back at the
same time.

A pastor once told me that spiritual maturity is not measured
by how long you have been a believer, or how much you know
your Bible, or how often you go to church; instead, he said,
spiritual maturity is palpable by the way you treat other
people. That is: the love you allow to operate in and through
you.

I want heaven to be like that: a never ending line of us,
lovingly taking care of each others' spiritual fleas.

This is of general interest. I am not calling for any debate
of a spiritual nature. I am sharing the love... just like, for
example, posting a link to youtube with something that
others may like.

Quoting the bible, talking about spiritual maturity (and its relation to church-going, bible reading, etc.), talking about heaven...

Are you saying that love cannot exist in the General Forum?

If you're so anal about it then alert the post.

. . .

Debate and general discussion of the
supernatural, religion, and the life after.

I am not debating nor discussing anything.
I am merely encouraging others. If posting
youtube links of a chimpanzee riding a segway
or informing that Leeds suck is considered
of general interest, then this is also of general
interest.

Guy from Leeds goes to heaven. There are 2 queues at the pearly gates, with a sign each.

1st sign says for all those guys who have not been dominated by their wives, all life long, stand in this queue. This queue is 15 Km long.

2nd sign says for all those guys who 'have' been dominated by their wives, all their lives, stand in this queue. There is only our man, with his hair-lip, little bowler hat, and tie standing in this queue.

Peter walks across, and says, 'WTF are you in this queue for?'

Our little man from Leeds replies "Our lass told me to stand here!" 😉

I did.

And it's not about being anal, it's about not bringing those things here when there's a place for it. It's the second thread in two days where you quote the bible and preach some morals. Are you the new Grampy Bobby?

Why it bothers you so much?

I don't judge the subjects you pick to post about
nor your preaching regarding subjects which I
consider inane.

Edit. Perhaps you would like to share with me
a list of subjects you don't dislike so I only post
about those? Also, a Palynka Manual of Style
would be nice.

Bother me? I warned to move your thread, not to ban you or mod the post. So it's not about "judging" the subject or disliking it, it's about keeping the forums organized. There are different forums for a reason.
