The Attibutes of God

a) God is love (I John 4:16); b)God is absolute righteousness and justice (Ps. 33:5); c) God is soverign (Ps.83:18b). He doesn't desire anyone to perish in the lake of fire (I Tim. 2:4); d) God is eternal life and is absolute existence, without beginning or end Ps. 90:2, 102:27). Unless we possess His life we cannot have an eternal reltionship with Him John 10:28); e) God is immutable, "the same yesterday and today and (yes) forever (Heb. 13:8, Mal. 3:6, James 1:17). There's only one way of salvation: "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved." (Acts 16:31a). Because God is immutable, f) He is faithful. His offer of the eternal salvation of a man's soul (through faith alone in Christ alone) will never be rescinded or withdrawn as long as man lives on the earth. g) God is absolute truth (Heb. 6:17-19).

God's veracity guarantees the truth of His Word and the promises it contains. He cannot lie. He will never go back on His Word. He means what he says, the gracious offer of salvation on one hand or the advance warning of condemnation on the other. The issue isn't naming your sins. The issue is faith alone in Christ alone. "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey (believe in) the Son shall not see life. The wrath of God abides on him." (John 3:36). Choice is yours.

I choose to believe that your choice is not a real choice.

You really think these dead and gone people, from long ago, they knew the truth?

Choice isn't mine to offer, FMF. I'm just a poor slob who

became a Child of God by accepting a Grace Gift. It's His.

May I ask you what Bible you use for your Bible quotes?

It's hard to believe that the gods are so weak they have leave their message up to random people.

"The Word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder the soul
and the spirit, and of the joints and the marrow, and is a critic of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb. 4:12)

Yes, I most certaintly do. These men were the human authors, chosen by the Holy Spirit, to reveal the Plan
of God and Mind of Christ to the Human Race. Whenever He does something it's alive and permanent.

New American Standard Bible. Some amplifications of the NASB Translation are from Bible Class Lectures by Pastor-Teacher, R.B.Thieme, Jr., (available on MP3CDs and publications, free of charge from RBT Bible Ministries. Houston, Texas, www.rbthieme.org)

If this were an entry in a sermon contest I'd score it high for its concise, well referenced, clear message.

Lets play a "What if" game.
Just for fun.
Not saying it happened ,
but what if

some of the bible was written by guys pretending to have been
chosen by god. How would you differentiate the bogus text from the
authentic text?

You're getting Hinds Syndrome - posting

Out of courtesy I tried your first link;
nothing there of relevance ...

Thanks for the game. By the way, in polite company comparisons are still odious.
