So, if it can't be verified by testing God doesn't exist?

What test is that?

A scientist observes the physical universe and can't see anything that would prove the existence of God?

I thought the scientific method was to try to falsify evidence. If there is no evidence to falsify, how can one say there is no God?

Science does not say there's no God. You're throwing out a Strawman.

There is simply no evidence that there is a God. If he exists, he's hiding (unless he sends telepathic messages to individual people somehow and we can't detect it).

I didn't say science said anything.

God is not hiding. You are.

You've outdone yourself with this one JW.
How about this one? If there is no evidence to falsify regarding the invisible dragon at the bottom of my garden, then how can one say there is no invisible dragon at the bottom of my garden?

Obviously this is not how science works or what it's for. Science is not about attempting to prove or disprove negatives. It's simply a process for developing models and explanations to understand how the world works as it does.
No scientist tries to falsify evidence - they may try to falsify a model however.
With the god hypothesis there is nothing to falsify, since, by definition, we're talking about a supernatural model, and so it cannot exist within any sort of scientific framework.

Why are you so desparate to convince us that god existence is proved by the things around us? You try the most bizzarre explanations and illogical reasonings to try to make the same point over and over.
We get it already - your proof for god is the existence of the world around us.

That's not convincing for me, and nor do I suspect it's going to convince many others.

Your argument is, I think, based on the notion of the wonder and beauty and mystery and magic of the world around us. I agree with this - the world is wonderful and beautiful and mysterious and magical.
I just don't think this proves a god exists.

Let's move on to other pastures, shall we?

The scientific method is to falsify a theory.

If you can't prove God doesn't exist then why use science as a means for justifying His non-existence?

You know, when you say there's no evidence. God is invisible, but what He has created isn't.

Can't trust science anymore. It's a religion now. Politically motivated.

Trust the Internet? Kind of an oxymoron don't you think?

And leave you all here by yourselves having all the fun?

I never said trust the internet.

You said you can't trust science, but you trust the science that allows us to have this conversation? I guess you trust the science that produced your computer, and the science that puts the electricity into your home.

The science you don't trust is the parts that contradict your Christian faith.
