Point taken. When I said non-Christian what I had in mind were non-religionist theists. Only religionists seem to have stuff like "an eternal lake of fire" going on. I stand corrected, as does my question, which may now perhaps be answered?

Satan's Priority One is to pervert God's love in the minds of men and women. He does so to perpetuate the age old question, 'How can God be so unfair as to condemn and sentence anyone to an eternal lake of fire?' Some say that Scripture reveals the answer to this otherwise unanswerable question. What say you?
.[/b]
I say philosophy is the love of unanswerable questions, and theology is rife with them. Once a philosophical question shows signs of being answerable, adjustments are made to keep it unanswerable, and if that fails, all philosophical interest in it is lost. It then gets turned over to historians, anthropologists, geologists, biologists, etc.

Evidence: this forum in general, and such specifics as the geocentric model of the universe. We don't debate it here.

This is what I believe....

What Does the Bible Say About Hell? / Do People Really Burn Forever in Hell (Greek Word Hades, Gehenna, Lake of Fire)?

Well I don't believe you. And I don't believe that you know anything about a 'higher authority" either.

Unanswerable Questions (Questions from the World of Science and Philosophy):

1. What came first - the chicken, or the egg?

2. If you keep on travelling east, when will you reach the east? And what will lie east of you then?
(east is replaceable with west / north / south)

3. What was there before the 'big bang'?

4. Where were you or I before we were born? (What were you doing before you were born?)

5. What happens after we Die?

6. Out of your own free-will, can you raise or lower your own body temperature at will?
(Who or what controls your own body temperature?)

7. How is the sun able to maintain its own temperature of 'millions of degrees'
(for 'millions of years'😉, without incinerating itself?

8. Are we alone in this universe?

9. Is there a God or are there gods?

10. When we 'feel' Love, which part of our body 'feels' it?

I'm far away from being the brightest one on these forums but your idiotic questions are easily answerable.

1. What came first - the chicken, or the egg?
The egg. All chickens come from eggs. But not all eggs come from chickens.

2. If you keep on travelling east, when will you reach the east? And what will lie east of you then?
(east is replaceable with west / north / south)
Directions are not destinations. You cannot ask "if I travel up what happens when I reach UP?" You can obviously travel east or west indefinitely, but, contrary to your assertion, north and south are different, you cannot travel further north from the North Pole.

3. What was there before the 'big bang'?
There was no "before".

4. Where were you or I before we were born? (What were you doing before you were born?)
We didnt exist.

5. What happens after we Die?
Everything carries on except us.

6. Out of your own free-will, can you raise or lower your own body temperature at will?
(Who or what controls your own body temperature?)
Yes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermoregulation

7. How is the sun able to maintain its own temperature of 'millions of degrees'
(for 'millions of years'😉, without incinerating itself?
😞

8. Are we alone in this universe?
We dont know yet. but it is certainly answerable.

9. Is there a God or are there gods?
So incredibly unlikely that for all practical purposes the answer is NO.

10. When we 'feel' Love, which part of our body 'feels' it?
dont you remember gramps?
