Anglicans name their Churches after saints and have saint days etc, but are much less focused on using them for intercession.

Yes, this is correct. Episcopalians (who are basically "American Anglicans" ) are the same.

According to the bible, all born again Christians are called saints. The word simply means "holy ones".
