You know what, I don't think that. I have great respect for many christians and their beliefs. My issue is not with christians and christianity, it is with asshats, especially the self-aggrandizing and arrogant variety.

I posted a while back how your brand of Christianity, that embraced science rather than fearing it, was a Christianity I had a lot of respect for. My view on that hasn't changed. No matter what you might think, I don't lump all Christians/theists into the same pot. You are barely on the same spectrum as someone like Hinds.

I 'do' though think reli ...[text shortened]... t, but can't apologise for holding that view, though appreciate how this could be angst causing.
I failed to answer this after you replied (in my defense I can only say that I have a lot of stuff on my plate), but your answer is appreciated. I get that we don't believe the same things about religion, but I have the same problem with many Christians here, too. I do not expect any atheist to apologize. But it's like saying to an American, "Hey, America sucks!" You're gonna get a fight. And I don't see atheists making a habit of telling Americans that America sucks, even if they believe so. Well, maybe the impolitic do. Anyways, thanks for replying.

Ha! ..just one word ?

If you don't like 'one trick pony' how about 'one size fits all'?

I have always tried to put Christianity into context. You seem to put it on a pedestal.
