As for gender, of course God is neither male nor female, but there are Gender roles and God functions as the male figure.
God created gender and one purpose was to give a physical relationship between us and him.
For those who recueve eternal life they will have neither a gender of male or female, yet they are still described as being the bride of Christ. So to answer your question of gender, God is male.
Of all the references to the bride of Christ most refer to the New Jerusalem. The church or those who will receive eternal life are referred to as the BODY OF CHRIST ... many times, never are they referred to as the bride of Christ.

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.
25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.[a] 28 In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, 30 because we are members of his body. 31 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. 33 However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband
I think the confusion is over the idea of one. A husband and wife become one body. In the same way Jesus and the church become one body.
Glad to be of use explaining this subject. It is a bit confusing for some.

It clearly states the church is the bride of Christ.
It clearly states that husband and wife are one body.
If you can't see that you need to reread it until you can see the obvious message.

2. "From Hebrews 13 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
There are some statements between you and others that I will set aside for now. These two above seem to contradict. One of them, the second, is Biblical, Is there Biblical support of the other?

There are clear statements that the BRIDE OF CHRIST is the New Jerusalem
There are clear statements that the BODY OF CHRIST is the church and its members.
So far you have heresay and specilation and deductions which contradict the clear statements that the church is the BODY OF CHRIST.
