I don't think parents should watch porn with their children and I certainly don't think they should present watching porn as an "example" to their children.

When it comes to taking advice from people about what sexual behaviour is healthy/unhealthy, I doubt my first choice would be Catholic Bishops.

But you are projecting, aren't you?

Have you been known to be susceptible to addictions, Robbie?

targeting who said what rather than addressing the content of what they actually said is termed a what? . . . .a logical fallacy.

I am not the issue, the issue is pornography and its unhealthiness. All further attempts to make it personal will be ignored.

galveston75 did that on another thread earlier: rather than answer an on-topic question he instead accused me of being "pure evil". Was that a "logical fallacy" by him?

Well, just so you know: not everyone is as susceptible to becoming addictive to everything as you were (are?) before you were saved by a religion.

There are plenty of people who watch porn, drink beer and play online poker without ever becoming addicted. We're not all as weak and flawed as you are, Robert.

Question: are you also "against" violent action movies and horror movies, or is it only porn you're afraid of?

Nothing, it just amuses me :-)

still amused? shall i do the maths for you?

PS the thread is not about horror, its about pornography and its addiction and relative danger to people caught up in it, if you have neither the social grace nor the manners or the decency to respect that then perhaps this is not the thread for you?

What content? It was a list of unsubstantiated opinions. You of all people should have spotted that.

So porn can be addictive and that can be bad. Just like alcohol. Okay, we already covered that. I'm in agreement.

So, now what? Should it be forbidden?

What's your point with this thread? That porn can be a bad thing? Anything else?
