No, I said that both you and the Psalms say atheists are fools. This was in response to a Christian saying stereotypes are for the lazy.

Ok .. my apologies then.

The Bible often use prostitute, whore and harlot interchangeably but in modern day language only the prostitutes are always paid. A prostitute is a whore but a whore is not necessarily a prostitute... in my opinion.

Original sin refers to the fall of man in the garden of Eden. Yes its biblical. Anything thats not in the Bible is by definition not Biblical. I have to therefore assume that its made up by someone thats not inspired.

The doctrine of original sin is one interpretation of the genesis account of Adam and Eve. It is not alone.

Just to clarify, So you believe that anything non-biblical is made up?

It depends on the source. There are some inspired works that are not in the Bible today but were considered scripture in earlier times. It depends. But I dont share the view of Catholics that the Pope or the saints are anybody special who can create doctrine etc etc.

I don't think that Catholics believe that the popes "create" doctrines either.

I dont know. Give me an example and I will tell you my opinion.
Dont try to extract a general statement out of me.
By and large I will be suspicious of all statements / doctrines I hear from people which have no biblical support.

150 being the number of the Psalms is common knowledge in enlightened circles--it's unlikely you made anyone "look it up" who has been to a Christian Church for more than 4-5 years.

If that's the best argument you've got against Christians, step aside and let some of the really sharp atheists take over for ya.
