There are exceptions agreed, but not always! Besides even with disease
and injury those are part of the processes that life has been over coming
from day one right? I means seriously, no concern about those two things
during the early stages of evolution why write off life now? If you have
the chemicals why die?

I am a chemist or i would say "physiological effects."

I really think the OP has the concept of ensoulment backwards. If there were a god that created souls, that god could ensoul anything he or she or it wanted. It's really like the soul is given a human body to run. So the god could ensoul a human, a horse, or a self-driving Google car, if it struck his divine fancy. (I say self-driving because giving a soul a r ...[text shortened]... ve the rock do? Erode? Nope.)
Now with that settled we can get to the question of free willy.
I say self-driving because giving a soul a regular car would be about like giving it a rock to run. What could the soul have the rock do? Erode? Nope.If a regular car was ensouled it would kill people, haven't you seen the film Christine (from a Stephen King novel)?

they failed all the chemicals were present were they not? Breaking down
and death seems to be something that can occur with all the chemicals
in place as nears as I can tell, which leads me to believe there is nothing
magical about having just that all the chemicals in place. Life is more than
just chemicals.

No, actually, it isn't. Biologists have studied life at the cellular level in extreme detail, and know the workings of most of it and so far nothing more than chemicals have been found, and nothing to indicate that there is anything more than chemicals going on.
Your argument is like saying:
Put a car into a crusher, and it stops working! But all the car parts are still there. Therefore cars have souls!

If you just wait around to see if it happens then you will most likely find yourself with sohouse in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone.
Now, back to my question, to which you have given no answer.
If we create synthetic life then does that disprove your religion?

No. I guess it would only confirm that God created man in His own image with the ability to create.
Thus your religion has nothing to say on the subject.

Perfect condition suggest you already know that life is more than chemicals.
