The post that was quoted here has been removedI don't pretend to be anything at all; I think I am straightforward, honest and forthright.
@karoly-aczel saidI'm sure some modern expert has that all worked out, there is more than likely
Does anyone know what it means to be a man?
@karoly-aczel saidRather than being an item in a list, "abiding in truth" should serve as the foundation. The others are a consequence of "abiding in truth". As a partial list it's sound enough, though you should consider qualifying "rejecting authority" with "rejecting authority that steps outside of truth".
It means being honest with your self, speaking your mind, abiding in truth, taking the slings and arrows of others ... it means not being afraid of your own life , taking responsibility and rejecting authority ...
just to mention a few
@karoly-aczel saidAnd should women not be and do these things as well?

@kellyjay saidsome modern expert?
I'm sure some modern expert has that all worked out, there is more than likely
a check list of preferred traits that fit the modern thinking of what manhood should
be. Outside of that why ask, you need someone to tell you its okay to be who you
are? Unless of course you have been listening to that your whole life and now you
are not sure if they always knew what they were talking about!?
@thinkofone saidexcept for this response from you , yes, they all act like kids.

"Kids and Adults" would have also been stronger. Seems responses to your thread have been almost exclusively from the former.
@indonesia-phil saidI didn't say that .
And should women not be and do these things as well?
@thinkofone saidI didn't want to say 'adults' . I wanted to know about men. There are differences between men and women although I'll admit there are more similarities

@karoly-aczel saidWhat I think is I don't need to worry about it, if I walk humbly with God, taking care
some modern expert?
I wanna know what you think
@kellyjay saidWhile you are thinking about not worrying
What I think is I don't need to worry about it,
@wolfgang59 saidLife can be a vicious circle sometimes. 🙂
While you are thinking about not worrying
I'm worrying about you not thinking.
