According to Jesus, God has given people to Je ...[text shortened]... lude that person him or herself? Is Jesus correct in his assertion that God is making the call?[/b]
And God said to John, come 'forth' and you shall be granted eternal life.

Alas, John came 'fifth' and won a toaster.

He used the words that meant what He wanted to say. It is simple if you just read it and not try to sneak in some hidden agenda. Yes, literally taken, even death can't separate us from the love of God.

And do you still think that this includes you?

Is this why you feel you can make fun of God?

For your information, the elect are the elect for a reason, they are not going to go around running down God to everyone all the time.

Do you Calvinists really believe that no one can choose God? That no one can reject God? Just what is wrong with you? Do you hate people that much? Or just people that aren't like you?

Do you mind quoting where I claimed to be part of the elect.

If all you did was quote scripture it wouldn't be an issue, but you start telling people what
it means and screw it up, that part I have an issue with.

If no one can take the elect out of God's hand, do they have free will to reject God?

You are talking about two things that have nothing to do with the other. How does it have to do with the will of those in God's hands that no one can take them out?

The elect are the elect because they are the most loyal to God.

You somehow tragically confuse this with having no free will.

If the angels have free will, then certainly man does, as well.

Calvin was wrong, wrong, wrong. Get over it.

The elect are those chosen by God. Jesus tells us these people have eternal security here on earth. They are saved and have no choice.

You speak exactly like the people who claim that Christians merely mimic what they are told by their church. You have the cart before the horse.
