Too obvious for atheists, too emasculating for theists. But a notch for me on threads killed, I guess.

One of my basic rules for how to talk to an atheist.

For the Christian who can remember being found and finding Jesus -

Remember what it was like for yourself before you met Christ.
Remember how you thought and how you saw the world then.

So you advocate speaking ignorance to ignorance? Ummmm, yeah.... no.

I found Christ because of people willing to bridge that gap with actual information.

I cannot do any less. Apparently you cannot do any less either, going by your post history in this forum. Forward, not backward. More of the same ignorance isn't going to help anybody who wishes to remain in that ignorance.

I didn't advocate speaking ignorance. I imply a lot of empathy may be needed as you recollect the strivings of your own soul before you were regenerated.

Wonderful. I don't advocate not bridging the gap.

There is no garuantee that empathy with what being an unbeliever is (by remembrance) will always help the athiest. It may and it may not.

Same with speaking to bridge gaps of ignorance.
There is no sure guarantee that that will work.

Besides, convincing a person to be saved takes much time sometimes.
One sows.
Another reaps.
You may not always SEE the result of your prayers, labors, explanations on the atheist.

The fact of the matter still remains that not every one is going to receive Christ.

I heard him say that the point from not believing to believing should be held in mind when talking with atheists. Makes sense, unless suzi is in a bad mood.
