I guess Blindfaith is a good example.Trying to convey what he knows to be true he ends up in a spiritual battle.Even some of those trying to help with good intentions don't seem to get far as it almost ended up himself against earth. ...[text shortened]... y have confused you a bit as a gambling problem is diff even if they hold some similarities.lol.
In my opinion, and it is just that my opinion.
One of the more difficult things for us to do is 'stop' relax and reflect.
Our minds are addicted to the hustle we find ourselves in, we pump
music into them non-stop, TV images, debates, and on and on. If we
were to just go to a hotel, leave the TV turned off, and try to get alone
with our thoughts, I'd bet many of us would automatically start
climbing the walls just after a little time has passed. Just as someone
who had their drugs taken away there would be a strong desire to
fill quiet, give our minds something to distract us with, a problem to
work out, a sport team to watch, and so on.
Americans I believe have a hard time with the thought of being still
and know He is God, because we have filled our lives with so many
other things, some important, others not so.
