Jesus was that enlightened one who has come to share the truth
with mankind. But the unenlighted only laugh at what they only
see as foolishness.

I think you've entirely missed the point he was trying to make, but I'm not really surprised.

I was applying the video to the truth, which I suppose the maker wished
to present. The only enlightened one that I know of that fits the story is
Jesus. Can you think of anyone else he could be referring to?

It is allegorical and so open to interpretation, however I'm very, very confident that he wasn't referring to Jesus. Perhaps if you read around a bit you can find out why...

Did you get involved with Christianity because you feared Hell and you wanted a way out ? The idea of an angry God needing a Blood sacrifice before he could give forgiveness seemed rational to you ? Just curious.
I was once like you, unenlightened to the truth. But eventually I did
use the intelligence that God gave me to come to the knowledge of
who Jesus was and the fact that I needed a savior.

What makes you think your truth isn't shadows?

People like me get involved with cults and airy fairy crap because of the feeling out weighing the thinking. Discernment is needed.
INFJ...

You should be thankful you're anywhere at all being in that segment!

Biblical faith is grounded in a direct perception of the reality which God's word testifies to—an experience imparted by the Holy Spirit. It is a knowing rather than a feeling. Further, it is knowledge arrived at independently of any intellectual process.

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; but when the perfect comes,
the partial will be done away. When I was a child, I used to speak as a
child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I did away
with childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to
face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully just as I also have
been fully known. (1 Corinthians 13:9-12 NASB)

will set aside." (1 Corinthians 1:18-19)

I think your right on this one. I have had such experiences that no amount of intellect could figure out but yet you know something is there thats real but unknown. That is why I'm not an atheist. Subjective experience is hard to validate.
