It requires faith either way, so I am not going to try to convince you that
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. However, that is what I have
come to believe. If I am wrong, then I am no worse off than if I believed
the way you do. I am happy believing as I do and I suppose you are
happy that you are not gullible enough to believe in God and all those
fairy tales in the Holy Bible.

Friend .....you are a great soul because you are aware of the reality of God but you do not know how to return to your eternal home in Godhead because your beloved Bible has not the means to instruct you in the proper method of attaining the ultimate goal love of God.

Knowledge of Godhead is given in great detail in the Veda and without this knowledge it is imposable to achieve the goal of love of God and return home.

I just said that Jesus is the WAY, the truth, and the life.

That is a lovely statement but without transcendental knowledge the statement is insufficient.

Transcendental knowledge is like a boat that carries the person over the ocean of ignorance.

Without transcendental knowledge you cannot raise the consciousness to the platform of love of God.

Time will tell.

If the God you subscribe to does exist, he is at best indifferent with regard to us and at worse, a sadist. His plan is frankly pretty rubbish.

What do you know about evolution, you've never read a book on the topic?!

I see you avoided my question earlier in the thread asking how it is possible to indoctrinate oneself. Could you possible elucidate on that point further Ron?

My beliefs are based on facts too. However, it requires faith to believe
some of facts on both sides. The so-called facts of how everything began
requires faith, because neither one of us was there to witness it.

You indoctinated yourself by reading those books and believing the men
that wrote them knew the truth.

If it requires faith to believe, it's not a fact.

That is the problem. Some so-called facts that some people believe
to be facts, like evolution, are not really facts at all.

Really it was the men that wrote those books that indoctinated you; but
you played right into their hands by reading the books with the belief they
were telling you the truth. Then when you talked with other people, who
had also read the books as you did, they also argeed and your indoctination
was enforced by your peers. Then anyone that has a different opinion from
your peer group must be kooks and are obviously wrong because you know
the facts.

Again, how do you know?! What do you base this blind blanket statement on exactly?
