Words escape me on this one. Colossal.
He stopped caring about his words even making sense a long time ago. Pity. We used to have some good conversations before his urge to preach swallowed everything else up.

SwissGambit,

I owe you an apology.
I apologize for completely misreading and misunderstanding your post.

Please forgive my hasty, erroneous and total mischaracterization of the intent of your statement.

What SG said was:

Deism is so blah - where's the excitement in having a God who just starts the ball rolling and goes and takes a nap until judgment day?

A colossal misreading of a simple sentence.
You're right. This time I really blew it.

I feel kind of like a penny looking for change right now.

Don't worry about it. They misunderstand us very often too.

I thought Buddhists only believed in men they call Buddhas that they idolize and not in a god of any kind.

Buddhism is quite different from Deism.

I can't understand the new Buddhism's jargon, but some of the old sayings are very clear, as in:
Holding on to anger is like holding a hot coal to throw at someone. You are the one who gets burned.
