Think about it: You actually said you read the Gospels a “whole bunch of times” after becoming an atheist even though you don’t believe them and find them so objectionable you can only tolerate reading small quantities at a time.
You then tried to get out of that whopper by saying you liked to discuss the Gospels with your uncle, which was undoubtedly another whopper.
