Sounds like you're "living for giving the devil his due".

Oh, he doesn't exist either.

No, he didn't. We all have choice. Free will. Surely, you've heard of it. God-become-man-in-the-flesh, the man Jesus of Nazareth, conquered death for us. We become righteous through him, he has interceded for us.

Are you as certain that the cat in the box is dead or alive?

Yes, both states exist, until you open the box and observe it.

You obviously didn't read the OP.
I addressed free will, "the elect", and "reprobate".
God's predetermined plan may outrank our free will. It may not matter what we do.

But it does matter.

Haven't you ready any of the NT?

That's twice now that you've ignored "the elect" and "reprobate".
Can you please post your opinion about those, before doing what most people do:

Ignore every part of the Bible, except Jesus. There was a God before Jesus.....remember Him? He said some things too.

By the way, what was the purpose of the quoted scripture?

Who was 'the Word' Chaney?!

(Here's a clue, 'And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us...' John 1:14)

I'm well aware of the verse.
Why don't you believe it? That's what I meant.
