Okay, so i would put Jesus in goal. (As we all know 'Jesus saves' ).
Goliath would make a pretty good defender and would certainly have Solomon somewhere in the team, (As would single-handedly cut the opposition in half).

Not the worst thread ever, I'd go so far as to say you don't even get an honorable mention
in that quest with this post! 🙂

Goliath would have scored an own goal as he is not really on Jesus side. As for Solomon he would have gotten carried away with sexy cheerleaders and lost his focus.

Hmm, maybe i'll keep them on the substitutes bench for now.

jesus is a striker, nobody gets on the end of a cross like him, he's nailed on to score every time.

Old Testament football, or New Testament football?

I was thinking a mixed team, but a local derby might be interesting. (There is probably more aggression among the OT players which i suspect would give them the edge).
*Forgot to include Samson in Midfield. (As long as Delilah is not lurking anywhere with a pair of scissors).

Matthew, Mark, Luke & John for the back four in front of St Peter (nothing gets past him)
The Wisdom of Solomon is needed in the middle of the park joined by Samson and Goliath to beef it up.
Up front Adam & Eve. (They play well together)
Its an old idea but I'd play the Holy Spirit as sweeper.
