No, sorry I'm definately talking about christians. I have seen christians change the subject more than corrupt politicians when the time comes to answer a direct question.

Are you sure they were Christians or maybe just pretenders?

Then, that's your problem. You could not tell the difference,
So you only thought you were talking to a Christian. The old
saying says, "It takes one to know one", may be true in some
cases at least.

Not really man, I was only joking. I thought you walked into that one. On a serious note, I know he was a devout christian and creationist. He was a pastor at a christian church. He is only one of many whom I have met that changed te subject when asked a DIRECT question about a controversial subject in thier religion. My chemistry professor is a reverend at a christian church. He is a good man, and tries his best to fuse the two subjects together. I respect him for his beliefs, flawed though they might be, but even he shys away from the evolution controversy.

Not me. I know it is B.S. and would rather talk about the truth of God.
The Christians you were talking too probable like to stay away from conflict.
But I spent 20 years in the Military so I don't care. I call it like I see it.
Many on this site have not liked my hash tone. So I have tried to tone
it down somewhat, especially since I was told I was making Christians
look bad. That may be why the Christians you talked to do not want to
discuss false teachings with you.

So you deny that you avoid answering direct questions? Thanks for serving in the military, at least that is one thing we agree on. Serving 20 years (even if it was the wrong branch hehe), I suspect you have a no compromise attitude. This does not serve you well. You have blinders on when thinking that the bible is fact. There is no proof that Jesus is the son of God. I think muslims have a better take on religion than christians do.

You probably like the idea they get all those virgins. My wife's
brother retired as a Sgt Maj in the Marine corpa after 30 years.
Her sister is married to a retired Marine Corps Major, who was
in 20 years. I seem to be the odd one but I call them both
Jugheads.

The virgins have nothing to do with it. They believe Jesus to be another prophet, not the son of God. You probably mean JARHEAD. I've never been called a jughead. I don't agree with Islam either. I've met quite a few who I respect, but their logic is just as flawed as yours. I'm off to bed. Pray for me.

I heard them called Jarheads; but I call my brother-in-laws Jugheads.
It is all in fun, of course. You haven't even heard any of my logic.
How could you know it is flawed? By the way, I can assure you my
logic is less flawed than yours or those muslims.

It is behind their back. I would never say it to their face, for
I might find myself waking up in pain on the ground.

I was Baptized when I was 12 years old, but didn't understand
what being a Christian was until after I retired from the Military.

your harsh tone is not what people on this site don't like about you.
