Great link. Thanks, Rob.

I now am wise to the ways of Scientology.
You may also want to check out http://www.clambake.org. Lots of very interesting information regarding Scientology.

As I had said in an earlier thread, L. Ron Hubbard understood what it would take to begin a new organized "religion" in this age of mass communication. Brain-washing and facist organizational control. Much like any religion.

I always wondered whether there was a connection between "thetan" and "Satan".

Charles Manson was said to have made it to "theta clear," whatever that may mean.

Here's a link on Hubbard's connection with Alistair Crowley, in the early days. It's from a Christian publication, but it's confirmed by other sources (incl. Apocalypse Culture).

I got stopped by a guy with a clipboard in Sydney. He started asking all these question about my goals in life and stuff. Then tried to get me to go with him for a free 'personality test' or something - I forget exactly what.
Whatever it was, it was about this point that I noticed his 'Church of Scientology' badge and made a very hasty exit.

[b]I got stopped by a [woman in a cheap print dress] with a clipboard in
Johannesburg; undeterred by my patent lack of interest, she followed me onto a bus, sat next to me, greeted one of her sistren who just happened to be sitting behind me--a real ghoul, gaunt pallid features, mechanical grin, FBI sunglasses, thousand-yard stare, the lot--and tried to get me involved in a 3-way conversation. The woman held the clipboard in front of my face and babbled like a speed freak--the word "free" came up again and again--while the ghoul worked on her grin: as the teeth came more into focus, the rest of the face seemed to blur...I jumped out as soon as the bus stopped somewhere I recognised, only to be followed by the babbling one...I lost her in the crowd, but I've been wary of catching the bus in Jo'burg ever since.

Psychiatrists hit back at Cruise

Cruise clashed with TV host Matt Lauer during an interview last week
Actor Tom Cruise has been criticised by the American Psychiatric Association (APA), following remarks he made on US TV attacking psychiatric medicine.
"It was irresponsible for Mr Cruise to use his movie publicity tour to promote his own ideological views," it said.

Cruise, who is currently promoting the Steven Spielberg blockbuster War of the Worlds, is a follower of the Church of Scientology which is against psychiatric medicine.

Here in New Zealand The Church of Scientology is defined as not a religion thanks to a ruling in the High Court a while back.

Apparently The Church has been known to use the law to make critcisers lives miserable. They have vast money reserves (to increase in the levels costs money) and are not afraid to use them.

Are you going to go into this organisation? Thats a bad idea, they all are sectarians as all other so called 'religions' mostly created in USA.
